BEST GIRLS TRIP DESTINATIONS
Barcelona, Spain
When most people think of Spain, two cities come to mind: Madrid, and Barcelona. The seaside city of Barcelona is definitely one of the most famous cities in the world, and a perfect spot for your next girls trip. Culture, shopping, art, beaches and nightlife are just some of the things this incredible city has to offer! Not to mention the delicious Spanish cuisine! Whether it’s your first trip to Barcelona or your fifth, a visit to the bustling European metropolis will nonetheless be one to remember.
Miami, Florida
For those wanting a bit of fun in the sun, Miami is the perfect destination! Miami is famous for its glamorous life style, beautiful beaches, and raging parties. Spend the day lounging at the beach, hit the stores for an afternoon of shopping on the famous Lincoln Road, or check out the street art in Wynwood. If you and your friends are looking to let loose then Miami has plenty in store for you! Head to one of the many pool parties, rent a boat for a day at sea, and finish off the night at one of the top nightclubs in the city. Whether you and your girlfriends want a more relaxed beach vacation, or a trip of a lifetime, Miami has it all!
Edinburgh, Scotland
Scotland may not be one of the top destinations on your list, and you may even be thinking it sounds a bit boring for a girls trip. However, I assure you that Scotland’s capital has a lot to offer! The medieval city is perfect for those history and nature loving friends. Discover the many castles and museums in the city, enjoy a Scotch whiskey tasting, and hike up Arthur’s Seat or other nearby paths. The quaint city streets feel to come directly from a storybook. Take a day trip (or longer if you have the time) to the nearby Highlands, and discover the lush green Scottish countryside that will surely win you over.
London, England
After having lived in London for a year I can say that it is one of my favorite cities to visit, especially with friends. If it’s your first trip to the cosmopolitan capital then be prepared for a jamn packed schedule. Discover the landmarks, walk along the South Bank for the best views of the city, eat at some of the trendiest restaurants in Europe, and enjoy a cocktail at one of the many chic bars (or have a pint at an adorable local pub). If you and your girlfriends are looking for a city getaway that has history, culture and a bit of flare then London should definitely be on the top of your list.
Charleston, South Carolina
Charleston, South Carolina has been a hot spot over the past few years! The charming Southern city has all of the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable girls trip. The southern cuisine is hearty and bursting with flavor, and the pastel colored buildings make this city an instagram lover’s dream come true. A girls getaway to Charleston (whether it’s for a weekend or longer) will no doubt include extensive boutique shopping, a trip to one of the many scenic beaches, and checking out some of the city’s best cocktail bars.
Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon is a great destination for a girls trip. Picture perfect pastel colored buildings, delicious local cuisine, extraordinary castles, and breathtaking viewpoints. Portugal’s capital city is a step back in time. It has European charm in its own unique way. Nearby beaches, and the famous Pena Palace in Sintra make for some unique day trips. It’s proximity to the United States also makes it an easy trip. The direct flight from many east coast cities, such as Boston and New York, is only about 5 hours. That’s shorter than a flight from Boston to Los Angeles!

San Juan, Puerto Rico
Discover the Caribbean without leaving the country! San Juan is the perfect girls trip destination for those in the United States who want to experience a whole different culture without traveling too far. Flights to San Juan are quite inexpensive from many east coast cities, and you don’t even need a passport (if you are a US citizen). The colonial style capital of Puerto Rico is bursting with history, and latin flare. Taste the local dishes, dance to the music, and sunbathe at some of the most crystalline beaches you’ve ever seen.
Corfu, Greece
Greece is a dream destination for many, and a popular honeymoon spot. Not to worry though, because the idyllic country is not just for romantic getaways with your significant other. It is also a top choice for that much needed girls trip! The country is made up of several islands, each one more beautiful than the previous. A trip to Corfu with your best girl pals will be an unforgettable adventure. Discover the historic ruins, get lost in the small winding streets of the main town, devour the delicious local cuisine, and embark on a day cruise to nearby islands. For a bit of history, stunning landscapes and the beautiful sapphire blue seas, then Corfu should definitely be on your list!

Florence has it all, and is the perfect destination for your next getaway with the girls! Walk the cobblestoned streets lined with ancient statues and fountains, discover the breathtaking countryside of Chianti where you can try some of the famed Chianti wine, (one of my favorites) and spend an afternoon shopping on some of the city’s most prestigious streets.
Gran Canaria, Spain
The Canary Islands are usually overlooked as a top travel destination, which might be due to its remote location off the coast of Morocco. However, don’t let this deter you, as there are frequent flights from Spain’s major airports (etc. Madrid, Barcelona). One of the largest islands is Gran Canaria. Its mild climate makes it the perfect spot even during the winter months. One of the most unique elements of the island is the varying terrain. From desert, to beaches, and volcanos, Gran Canaria has a bit of everything. Its low tax rates also make it a very affordable vacation for those looking to save some money!
